about
I’m Rhys, a London-based creative director and stylist originally from Melbourne. My background moves between painting, photography, styling, and design, disciplines I pull together into creative direction. What connects it all is a focus on process, ideas built with intention, not just aesthetics.
I bring together formal design training and self-taught experience. Over time, I’ve learned how to move from concept sketches and moodboards into fully realised campaigns, building the skills to carry a project from the early “what if” phase through to final execution. That balance of experimentation and structure is what drives my work.
making it work
I start with ideas. Every project begins by asking questions, digging into references, and finding the spark that can push a concept somewhere new. I’m drawn to the early stages of building, sketching, moodboarding, testing, and pulling together threads into something that feels both bold and intentional.
At the same time, I think structurally. Growing up I was drawn to maths and perspective drawing, sketching furniture and buildings to scale. That early mix of creativity and precision shaped how I work now, instinctive enough to chase ideas, but disciplined enough to make sure they actually hold together.
I don’t come in with a fixed aesthetic. I adapt to the brief, working collaboratively to shape ideas that feel clear, distinctive, and true to the project.
the receipts
I don’t just make things look polished, I make them make sense. My background cuts across design, photography, and styling, which means I can take an idea from sketch to campaign rollout. I’ve produced content for streetwear, hospitality, and design brands, with work used across socials, websites, and events, from shaping visuals for a Formula 1 pop-up in Monaco to creating imagery for Melbourne’s streetwear scene.
What I bring is consistency, ideas that start bold and end practical, built with intention, collaboration, and detail.
